SmartRigging PBO Stay's
is guaranteed supplied with the smallest size possible, reducing weight and windage. The timbles are made in high tensile stainless steel which guarantees the smallest diameter possible that
utilize innovative technologies.
Smart Rigging has three principal standing rigging products:

Cables and Covers:
SmartRigging produces a variety of cables and cover types. Standard stays are constructed in
PBO, other options are Aramid (Kevlar 49, Twaron) Vectran and Dyneema.
There are five cover options, each with their own weight and chafe resistance, at varying pricing

The two exclusive materials used in the Smart Rigging products is the high performance super-fibre PBO and Kevlar 49.

Special Features:
On the bigger stays weight savings of 60 to 70% can be achieved in comparison with Nitronic rod rigging. The breaking load is 70% higher compared with Nitronic 50 rigging with equal stiffness.
The shipyard can reduce the total boat weight with 3 to 4% using
SmartRigging®.
